Jesus' Invitation

Jesus’ Invitation

A new quality of life now and forever. Life full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control in peace with God, others, and all creation.

Freedom, family, fulfillment, future. Life free from the guilt and trapping power of sin and free from the fear of death. Life in a loving family. Life fulfilling your greatest purpose to love God and others. A future hope for all eternity as well as new life today!

Jesus invites us saying, “Come follow me. Trust me. Walk with me step by step.” He wants us to have faith that he saves us from our sins and trust in him to be our Lord, the leader of our lives from this moment on.

Our Response

Follow Jesus. To begin, pray, telling Jesus something like this. “Lord Jesus, I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. Please forgive me. I now turn away from everything I know is wrong. Thank you that you died on the cross for me so that I could be forgiven and set free. Thank you for offering me forgiveness and the gift of your Spirit. I now receive that gift. Please come lead my life by your Holy Spirit now and forever. Amen.” Then continue to live with Jesus daily by asking questions and seeking to know God by reading the Bible, worshiping with other Christians, praying, reaching out to others, and living with Jesus wherever you are.
Keep exploring and asking questions. Participate with other Christians, observing and participating in their way of life.
Reject Jesus. Jesus won’t force you to believe in him. He will pursue you in love, but you must ask yourself what you believe about him. C. S. Lewis wrote,”A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be insane or else he would be the devil of hell. You must make your choice. Either he was, and is the Son of God or else He was insane or evil, but let us not come up with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to (Why Jesus, Nicky Gumbel).”
